JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND ANNOUNCES THE 2015 JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT BUSINESS HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Waltham, MA (3/9/15) – Junior Achievement of Northern New England (JANNE) will welcome Governor Charlie Baker as Guest Speaker and honor its 2015 Business Hall of Fame Inductees at a dinner celebration on March 11, 2015 at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. In its 11th year, the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame recognizes companies and individuals that embody outstanding citizenship while furthering Junior Achievement’s mission of teaching students about financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. The inductee selection process was developed and administered by the Institute for High Performance team based at Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.
The nominations were independently evaluated and scored by the members of the selection committee who reviewed each application against specific indicative criteria including: excellence within its industry and active and substantiated support of the community.

During the 2013-2014 school year, JANNE implemented 1,768 programs at 266 schools, corporate or after-school sites, reaching close to 42,000 youth through the efforts of over 2,200 trained volunteers. Serving students in nine Massachusetts counties and the entire state of New Hampshire, JANNE focuses on impacting “at risk” youth.
